About laser etching
This tumbler is laser etched — a high-powered laser permanently engraves the design directly into the surface of the tumbler. There's no ink, no vinyl, and nothing that can peel, fade, or wash off.
The etching removes the outer coating to reveal the stainless steel beneath, creating a permanent contrast that only gets better with age.
Laser etching works best on darker coated tumblers where the steel contrast shows clearly. The design will appear as a lighter, metallic mark against the tumbler's color.
Care instructions
- Hand wash recommended to preserve the coating
- Top-rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing extends the life of the finish
- Do not microwave
- Do not use abrasive scrubbers on the etched area
The etched design itself is permanent — it cannot be washed off. Normal washing will not affect the engraving.
